Can someone explain the difference between key skills and inter-personal skills?

Just trying to sort my CV out. ThanksCan someone explain the difference between key skills and inter-personal skills?Key skills - tasks that are key to the position you are applying for

inter personal skills - communication skills (with other people) verbally mostly but could include written communicationCan someone explain the difference between key skills and inter-personal skills? In the field of NVQs and in Modern Apprenticeships, key skills are:

Communication

Information Technology

Numeracy

Working with others

Organising own workload

Interpersonal skills is just another name for working with others and is only a small part of overall key skills.

In research done by the department for employment, these key skills are those which were agreed by most employers as being essential for virtually any job, and which can be transferred to any other job.Can someone explain the difference between key skills and inter-personal skills? My guess is that 'key skills' probably means technical skills, such as IT, finance, keyboard, and other operational skills. Interpersonal skills are those you use in relationships with others, such as teamworking, leadership, counselling, mentoring, teaching, listening, communicating, etc. If you have to prepare a CV for a particular job application, looking at their application form might shed some further light on this.

Hope that helps. Can someone explain the difference between key skills and inter-personal skills?
Key skills are all your skills including technical, non-technical etc., For ex., C, C++, Java, Unix, negotiation, etc.,

inter-personal skills are those that are used while working with other persons - Team work, Mentoring etc
