Do people still have a problem with inter-racial relationships?

I'm white and have only dated african american men. I feel that I have gotten stereo-typed, because white guys are scared to even flirt with me. My parents even have a hard time approving of it. I thought that everyone has grown up, and realized that this is the 21st century, but I guess not. Not everyone is going to be accepting, but people who tell you that it is wrong in the 21st century to date someone simply because of the color of their skin are not the type of people you probably want to hang out with anyways.

I'm white and have never dated a guy from the United States and my boyfriend is Chinese. I live in a very modern part of California and I hardly ever get smack because my bf and I are different races...although we do get stuff about our age difference lol. (but all in fun-and-games).

I don't know where you live, but California has a lot of really accepting people in comparison to many other states. :)
