This is a very well known corporation, so that is a lot of people that I don't know.Is my company allowed to force me to join an inter-company social network?Unless it is in your condition of employment, no, they cannot force you to reveal a personal email address. Doing so may violate confidentiality laws in some countries. A company cannot post your personal information without your permission, unless that information is work related (like your work phone number, but not your personal cell number....)
Check with the company's privacy officer - most large companies have one....
