What are the benefits of installing an inter-cooler without a turbo?

Inter cooler is use to have a faster cooler the engine oil, to have a fine lubrication on engine and turbo. As known, the good work of turbo isn't depending to the blade and bearing only, but the lubrication to make the bearing and blade turning smoothly. Installing intercooler without a turbo? Why not, a cooler engine oil will be have to make the oil always in good condition, haven't proof before but this can make the oil to use longer then it should be. As known, the automatic transmission is using oil cooler, same function as intercooler, to cooling the oil to have a good and non-slip transmission in it's work. What are the benefits of installing an inter-cooler without a turbo?Nothing. an intercooler is for the turbo. I guess you could route the piping towards the air filter so you can receive cooler air
