*Internet* I live in California and found out a friend of mine got arrested about a month ago wanted to find information about him like why he got arrested and how long he will be arrested for.How can I locate an Inmate who got arrested about a month ago wth only his first and last name thru the Inter?The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has an online inmate locator where you can search for inmates by name. The database provides inmate name, CDCR number, age, admission date and current location. It does not list charges, release date or other information. You could call the Identification Unit at (916) 445-6713 but they will only provide the same info as the database. If he is not in state prison, you can check with the county jails, as many of them also provide online information.
