There is no answer to such Whys. Strange are the ways of selection committees. So do not stress yourself with these whys and just wish that those who are selected to play, perform well.

Zaheer is not yet ready for International cricket he will also miss the odi series against Srilanka but he is keen to return in the test series.



Rohit Sharma has been given enough chances, i mean he has played 41 odis at the age of 22, he hadnt made best use of his opportunities but he is still young.



In a couple of years time with players like dravid, sachin and laxman retiring more places will be up for grabs for these young players, Sharma, Kohli Pandey they will all get chances in the future.
