What is inter-ship and is it easier to get a job through it than on your own?

I'm thinking about getting an IT degree, but I heard people who have IT degree say it's tough getting a job even after getting a degree because employers say "no experience, no job"... so they're working in customer service and other fields even with a degree in IT.





So maybe I should apply for Intership? All I know is that it helps students get experience in their field, perhaps to prepare them for the real thing.
