How do i share inter net between computer and laptop?

Err.

I have a computer and a laptop and I wanted to share the desktop internet with the laptop internet. But one problem is that my modem thingy only has one hole and my desktop filled in the hole. So how do i get internet on my laptop and desktop at the sametime o_O
