I believe it was in the mid to late 90s. I was a baseball fan as a kid in the 1970s and early 80s but have not followed it in 25 years. The only time in those days they played each other was all star game and world series. Also football in particular NFL has passed baseball as Americas Game.What year did MLB starting playing inter conference games?Baseball still is, and always will be "America's Game."
