Can i buy an Inter Rail pass in Amsterdam?

Hey, im from Belfast, N Ireland, and im travelling to Amsterdam in June. I plan on buying a one month inter rail pass when i decide to leave amsterdam. This way i dont have to decide on a date to start the pass before hand, i can just decide whenever i want to leave once im there. Is it possible to buy it in Central Station or anywhere else? or must it be done over the internet? any help would be appreciated, thanks. Can i buy an Inter Rail pass in Amsterdam? You should buy your pass in your own country if it does participate, which the UK does.

And on top of that, your pass will not be valid in the country you buy it. In the Netherlands you will get 50% reduction when you buy your pass here, but if you buy your pass at home before leaving, you will not need to pay anything in the Netherlands.

I am not sure whether you can buy your pass without a certain starting date, I would not be surprised if you can.

If you do buy your pass here, you can try centraal station, but as said, you should buy in your own country. If you are here and can not buy from the station, you can try the Treinreiswinkel, on Singel 393, http://www.treinreiswinkel.nl/ You will pay costs, but they can arrange things you can not at the station.

If you are willing to buy through internet, you can buy on a UK site, let it be send to your home or a friend and have them send it to you wherever you are. That will take a few days extra.

I am not sure whether the UK sites will send to the Netherlands, but if they do, it might be the best for you.
