There is a girl at work that I'm really into. We get along really well. I haven't actually talked to her about dating and honestly I'm not really 100% sure if she is interested. The more we talk the more we realize how much we have in common. My fear is she is black and I am as white as can be. Is there some concerns I should have about this? no matter where you go theres always going to be a critic. regardless if she is black or white. there will will be no difference in judgement but only to be stereotyped. if you two are hot for each other than go for it. whatever you go through as a racial problem with her she will most likely go through the same. the only thing you can do is dont take **** from anyone about it, stand up for yourself, especially if shes right next to you, you will prove to her that you are good for her. good luckWhat are your thoughts on inter-racial dating?Of course its ok. This is 2010, not 1810. Skin color is an inherited trait just like hair color and eye color. You will come across bigoted people in your relationship who disagree with what you guys have, but what they think does not matter as long as you guys are happy with each other. It's totally worth a the shot to ask her out because you two might have something really special.
