If you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..

i am a liverpool fan so i excluse liverpool, i say inter partially because we are against them in the cl soon! but because they have the best penalty takers in the world figo, zlatan, cruz! who i think is probably the best! materazzi and so on you?If you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..Hard to say, I would probably pick Real. I asume they'd be very cool under pressure, and have great takers all the same.

But I have to say, the Japanese PK sensation Endo (See source for examples.) takes the coolest penalties ever. he basically walks up calm as anything and places. If you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..
Lots of you are fearing Buffon, right?

Well remember when they faced AC Milan in the champions league? they went to a penalty shoot-out? Milan won?

Well before that, It was Buffon's dream to go to a penalty shoot-out. When he found out how tough it is, he doesn't want to go in another one.

"I was so scared, I didn't want to play anymore for Juventus in that game" was in a press conference after the match.

And did you notice that in the 2006 WC Final, Buffon (or Barthez) didn't save a single penalty? the thing that won it for Italy was the cross-bar that Trezeguet hit.

I would NOT want to play the 2006 German National team in a penalty shoot-out, because in my opinion, they are so cool and collected, they could walk up and POUND it in the top corner. Italy were damn lucky to score in the stoppage time in ET in the Semi's, because they would have lost in a shoot-out against the Germans. If you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..I support man utd, Inter have a great team, they are playing very well in the cl and serie A. but I still think Liverpool will beat them.

as for your question I think Juventus definitely, wouldn't like to meet them, one word: Buffon (whom I believe is the best keeper in the world, and really good at saving penalties). fair enough it helps to have the best penalty takers. but in the end, it don't matter how good they are, it depends on good the goalkeeper is and whether he can stop them.
Juventus can take anyone! If you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..chelseaIf you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..
Inter choke on penalties. They won't win a penalty shoot out against Liverpool.

Worst team to go toe to toe with is German national team. Even if they have bad individual takers somehow as a team they never lose them.
whatever team ricardo is onIf you had to choose a team to never go to a penalty shootout against who would it be and why? mine is inter..
MEXICAN TEAM AMERICA BCUZ THERE GOALIE GUILLERMO OCHOA HAS BLOKED MORE PENALTYS THEN ALLOWED IN HIS CAREER AND HES FACED QUITE ALOT.
Juventus even though we won in 2003 Champions League
u think liverpool are a threat on PSO??? CL is hardly a PSO driven competition. i cant think of any team in particular. all teams are reasonably poor in PSO at CL level. its more a case of one team may have the advantage over another. for instance, man utd has an edge over liverpool etc. but if i had to make a choice, i'd say man utd or even arsenal.

english teams cant play football, but they can do well in PSO.

@juventina: juve can surely take on anyone? whatever happened to them against the red devils of italy in 2003?? and arent they suffering the 'english climate' in the CL??? oh wait, they arent even in it this year!!
