How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?

There is nothing that bans inter-racial marriages. The only times in the Bible where it is prohibited was because of outher reasons (that race was prominent worshippers of other gods, etc).

Too many people take everything as a literal translation without taking items into context. The same goes for things like tattoos. It states you can't get tattoos but when taken into context, this was stated at a time when people were getting tattoos of false gods.

You can't take everything you hear as a literal fact without taking into account what's going on "behind the scenes". There's nothing wrong with inter-racial marriages as long as both people love each other for the right reasons.

Will everyone agree with me? Probably not but that's where judgement and discernment come into play. How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JiJRdZsh鈥?/a>How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?
Many political views often cloud religous views. Like traditional parents are against homosexuality. my response to that "Love Thy Brother".How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?Just 25 years ago in South Africa, the Christian apartheid regime not only banned inter racial marriage but sex across the color line was a criminal offense. People were sent to jail for inter racial sex. This horrendous crime against humanity was justified by the Dutch Reformed Churches interpretation of the bible. How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?
We are all one race.

At some point, prejudice people used the scripture about not being unequally yoked to mean not marry people of other race. There is only one race and that is the human race.

The scripture they used means for believers not to marry unbelievers. How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?Moses was married to a women of another race.

Numbers 12:1 And Mary and Aaron spoke against Moses, because of his wife the Ethiopian, 2 And they said: Hath the Lord spoken by Moses only? hath he not also spoken to us in like manner? And when the Lord heard this, 3 (For Moses was a man exceeding meek above all men that dwelt upon earth) 4 Immediately he spoke to him, and to Aaron and Mary: Come out you three only to the tabernacle of the covenant. And when they were come out, 5 The Lord came down in a pillar of the cloud, and stood in the entry of the tabernacle calling to Aaron and Mary. And when they were come,

(Note) "Ethiopian"... Sephora the wife of Moses was of Madian, which bordered upon the land of Chus or Ethiopia: where note, that the Ethiopia here spoken of is not that of Africa but that of Arabia.

6 He said to them: Hear my words: if there be among you a prophet of the Lord, I will appear to him in a vision, or I will speak to him in a dream. 7 But it is not so with my servant Moses a who is most faithful in all my house: 8 For I speak to him mouth to mouth: and plainly, and not by riddles and figures doth he see the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak ill of my servant Moses?

9 And being angry with them he went away: 10 The cloud also that was over the tabernacle departed: and behold

Mary appeared white as snow with a leprosy. And when Aaron had looked on her, and saw her all covered with leprosy,How many people or churches claim that the Bible bans inter racial marriage?
Trust me on this there are certain Fundie Churches that do not come right out and teach it but they do use coded preaching to say it.You might listen for sermons that go something like this , Were all Children of GOD and it is Gods wisdom that separated the nations and then might quote a verse i do not remember where or which book of the old testament that it says something about God creating the valleys and Mountains as borders. How do i know i was raised a fundie until i got older and started my search for proof of all i was raised hearing. More times than i can recall i remember hearing words of GOD loves us all but wants us to stay as we are and were to love all races but not to intermarry as GOD created each race for a purpose. But my family never ever taught us to be prejudice but i honestly believe at that time they also did not believe in intermarriage and GOD forbid if one ever married a Catholic which to them was a terrible sin.
At least three The Mormons, believed it until they got a lot of flack as being races and they changed their policy of not allowing Blacks to become Bishops, After that they changed this teaching , and whether they still believe it deep down is open to question. The fundamentalist Mormons still continue to believe this.. Christian Identity still believes it, based on the theory that Blacks were created by Jews and still bear the Mark of Cain. The Westboro Baptist Church holds similar beliefs. In South Africa before becoming free, the Dutch Reformed Church believed in apartheid Any way I don't think the Bible exp;licitly bars interracial marriage. If it did it wouldn't be the Book reepresenting Christianity
