Basically my girlfriend is white and Im mixed with black and white. Her grandma is racist and said the Catholic bible says to date and stay with your own race. Im 19 and shes 17. someone please tell me that is garbage. Im Christian and I dont think my Bible says that. Doesnt God say to treat everyone the same?What does God say about inter racial dating?She is probably getting it from the "equally yoked" verse, which some do take to mean "same race".



The Catholic Church has no problem with interracial dating and so that is fine, but, the Catholic Church does recommend (as the Bible does) that people should date and marry within their religious belief. Just because it can cause problems later down the road.

her grandmother is probably thinking of where the Bible talks about being unequally yoked. that basically means that a Christian should marry someone who isn't a Christian.

God says it's awesome. Seriously, though, I am not aware of anything in the bible against inter-racial dating.
That's not true at all. She is just old and stuck in her ways. I was never raised that way, I always date boys of another race. The bible says no such thing, no matter what translation you use. To me it almost seems like we were meant to have inter racial marriages. Look at the kids that are biracial, they are all so beautiful. I'm not aware of any scripture that restricts interracial dating. Wasn't Solomon's wife (one of many) described in the "Song of Solomon" black?
