Does the ps3 slim inter cooler really messes up the console?

I've been using it for a while know and it hasn't damaged my ps3. Played GTA IV for 10 hours straight and it never froze or overheated. So why are most people saying it screws the Ps3 up?Does the ps3 slim inter cooler really messes up the console?The whole point of a cooler is to take out the hot air while at the same time drag in cold air, this is important bc if the system doesn't cool down things will move so fast that it simply melts. But you have additional coolers that you can attach to the device making the air going in and out, much faster which means the ps3 can compute abit higher.



But the disadvantages are they could be abit noisy and the ps3 will look abit bulky or fatter. But I don't use the cooler things and I really don't experience problem with it. Maybe it could be me.Does the ps3 slim inter cooler really messes up the console?Because PS3 consoles suck and xbox 360 consoles are amazing. I have both and just got the new 360 slim. I like the 360 more. And its because game consoles were not really meant to be played 10 hours straight.
