i would like to know how do i find out about the competitions running in our area(warwickshire UK) where we live.i would like my daughter who is 8yrs old participate in completions like maths english and science which will build her good knowledge and would be able to learn much more things.if anybody knows please help me out.I want my daughter to participate in inter school competitions? She is 8 years old, she should be doing what other 8 year olds do and be outside enjoying the sunshine before she doesn't have time to due to exams etc. Children are forced to grow up way too quickly. Does she actually want to take part in these competitions or is it that you want to become a 'show mum'? It shouldn't take competitions like this to make you proud of your daughter, that should come naturally.
Let her play and be the little 8 year old girl that she is.I want my daughter to participate in inter school competitions?she'd be better off socialising and playing, that will build the life skills that help people succeed in adult lifeI want my daughter to participate in inter school competitions?it all depends..if that is the thing that she would really like to do then it can be very rewarding. I speak from personal experience because as a child i loved to represent myschool in competitions. And i actually enjoyed it. However, if there is absolutely no element of interest then she may either not take it too seriously, or end up hating you for keeping her from the very things she'd love to do. My advice, talk to her...at least see what she says. You would be surprised at the answers kids can give these days.I want my daughter to participate in inter school competitions?
How about asking her what she wants?!
